For those visiting Thailand or Southeast Asia for the first time, it may not be uncommon to hear many unfamiliar bar hopping, drinking and red-light terms, or slang, when out and about. This may be further exacerbated by the large number of international tourists, with their own common terms, all converging in small, popular, nightlife areas.

In this newbie blog we will be looking at the term "spinner", what it means, particularly in a bar hopping, red-light nightlife context. We have also included link to our Sexy Thai Spinner Gallery (Below).

What is a Spinner?

First Things First
To cut straight to the chase, a "spinner", in reference to female, is a small, petite female. However, it should be noted that although used most commonly when referring to women, technically, there is no reason why this term could not also refer to a small, petite man or ladyboy.

For this Newbies Blog, we will be mostly using the term as in reference to a small, petite, woman. The origin of the term "spinner", in relation to a woman, comes from the musing that the "the girl is so small and petite that the man is physically able to spin her around and around during sex", particularly while she is sitting on his penis. Whether or not, when taking these girls home or back to the hotel, any actual "spinning" takes place, is not important The main criteria in whether a girl or someone is a spinner is only their petite and small size.

It should also be noted that, the term "spinner" is not solely used in the red-light, bar and nightlife scene and can be used for any small, petite woman in general. However, the term may be considered derogatory and may not be well received by some people.

Size Matters?
With all this said, for those who are visiting Southeast Asia for the first time, some guys might think that all Asian women are in fact spinners. Although, typically shorter than Western women, there is a growing variety of body types in Asian women in recent years. following on from this point, whether or not some of the bigger body types could physically be "spun" will depend a lot on the gentleman's own physique. However, for us personally, to be considered a true "spinner", a woman needs to be under 5ft 8 inches and weigh less than 45kg. In Thailand it is not difficult to find women of this size, and it's not uncommon to find spinners less than 40kg.

Full Spinner Experience
For some, spinners may be the ideal body size. For others, they may prefer women with long legs, big breasts or a big ass. hand in hand with their small size, spinners typically don't have any of these attributes. Thai spinners, 45kg or less, in particular, are commonly shorter in height, smaller chested and with smaller asses.

Spinner in relation to a small, petite woman is a term that has only started being used, quite recently, in the past ten years at most. Most commonly before, and not so much now, especially in regards to bar girls, the most popular phrase to use when describing a small, petite, Asian woman would be LBFM, Little Brown Fuck Machine. When referring to a woman as a LBFM, often there would be a further sentence added "LBFM, powered by rice". A spinner and LBFM are pretty much interchangeable, with spinner perhaps being a little more respectful
